Chapter 2 (NSW)
Professional Development Lunch
Endowments
for Future Growth
Endowment income provides organisations with
critical long term financial stability. Endowment Funds are charitable
gifts established in perpetuity by an organisation and invested by the
organisation to generate income for the long term support and financial
stability of that organisation.
The principal/capital is invested for total return
and the interest is distributed annually, generating income for the
organisation. Endowment gifts are truly gifts that keep on giving in
perpetuity.
This informative session is presented by
Dahlia
Brigham, Fundraising Consultant, Royal
Prince Alfred Hospital Newborn Care. It will help you
understand endowments, types of funds, and the important role they play
in an organisation’s overall fundraising mix, as well as covering
the key elements of establishing, implementing and developing a
successful endowment program.
