Australian fundraisers shortlisted in global awards

The FIA is proud to announce two Australian fundraisers have been shortlisted in the Resource Alliance Global Awards for Fundraising 2011.

Only winners of FIA's National Awards for Excellence in Fundraising are eligible to be nominated for this international award. The shortlisted entries will be showcased on The Resource Alliance website and publications. Category winners will receive a free place at the International Fundraising Conference and a trophy.

The Australian shortlisted entrants are:

  • The Global Fundraiser - Melissa Smith - Dr Chau Chak Wing Building, University of Technology Sydney. (Melissa Smith is now Director, Development, RMIT University).
  • The Outstanding Volunteer - Ada Banks - Cancer Council Queensland.
