FIA Bobbie Dart Scholarship for Skills 2011
This scholarship is dedicated to the late Wendy Roberta “Bobbie” Dart JP FFIA CFRE, who was an enthusiastic and committed contributor to the nonprofit sector and the fundraising profession in Australia.
Bobbie was the first female national president of FIA (now called Chairman of the Board) and one of her key contributions to advancing the fundraising profession was her role in assisting in the development of a standardised curriculum for the FIA Skills training program.
To honour Bobbie's commitment to our sector and her work on the Skills program the Bobbie Dart Scholarship has been created. This scholarship is to attend one module of the FIA's Certificate of Fundraising and is open nationally twice per year.
Members can apply for scholarship to undertake a module of FIA's Certificate of Fundraising in their closest capital city. Applicants must have been a member of FIA for a minimum of 12 months to be eligible. This scholarship does not include accommodation or travel expenses.
