Fundraising Management Diploma (FMD)

FIA’s Fundraising Management Diploma is open to Australian and international students by distance education and provides the skills and knowledge required to enhance the careers of professional fundraisers and those involved in the non-profit sector.

There are no compulsory prerequisites for this course, however, due to the nature of the assessments and work required, it is preferable for candidates to be currently working within the fundraising industry.

The course is:

• relevant to the work of professional fundraisers
• includes a variety of learning experiences
• takes into account the time students have available to study
• provides appropriate guidance, including readings and assessment tasks
• builds on knowledge and skills gained working in the field of fundraising
• provides highly regarded professional tutors who have a wealth of fundraising experience

Fundraising Practice Certificate (FPC)

There is also an early exit point to the course nested within the Diploma, known as the Fundraising Practice Certificate. This is made up of two Core Modules, plus one additional Module from the Fundraising Management Diploma.
