Latest Submissions
2012 continues the pace set by 2011 for FIA to develop and submit its policy positions to Treasury. To date, FIA has responded to Treasury’s consultation papers on governance of not-for-profits and implementation design of the new Australian Charities and Not-for-Profit Commission. The latest consultation paper is on charitable fundraising regulation reform. FIA members have an important opportunity to shape the future of fundraising regulation. The discussion paper can be found here. FIA has now lodged its response and the link can be found below. Note that FIA’s position is summarised in the introduction and the Q & A table in the appendix.
