Meet the Tutors

All of our tutors are experienced fundraisers who will bring their skills and experience to the classroom to bring the course material alive. They are all passionate about the fundraising profession and are looking forward to sharing their knowledge with the fundraising leaders of tomorrow.

The "Dream Team" Fundraising Essentials tutors are: 


Bruno Yvanovich FFIA

Bruno has been a member of FIA for over eleven years, and has held various roles at a state and national level including Chapter President and National Director and was elected a Fellow of FIA in 2010. He has held senior fundraising roles at Australian National University, Greening Australia and Australian Catholic University. Bruno has over 20 years training experience both as a presenter and in training development across many sectors. He 'retired' late last year, but continues to support the profession with various writing, training and speaking engagements.  


Frances Cinelli EMFIA
Head of Fundraising, Redkite

Frances has been a member of FIA for over 20 years and has held senior executive roles in a number of not-for-profit organisations including Heart Foundation, Save the Children and Spine Care Foundation. She has been a very active member of the NSW Executive Committee over the last few years, holding various portfolios such as Awards, CFRE and Fellows. Frances has been a mentor for new fundraisers for the past two years and was an adjunct lecturer and tutor in the Master of Management Program at the University of Technology, Sydney for four years. 


Bianca Crocker MFIA CFRE
Owner, Fish Community Solutions 

Bianca was awarded the 2012 FIA Young Fundraiser of the Year award for her outstanding contribution to the profession. She started her career in advertising, but soon decided that she would be better suited to a fundraising career and moved to Whitelion in 2005. Bianca was instrumental in the set up and delivery of FIA professional development and networking events on the Gold Coast, coordinating the group for over three years, assisting delivery of almost 10 functions to Gold Coast-based fundraisers. She worked at CareFlight Rescue for 3 years before setting up her own consultancy business in 2011. 



Stephen Mally MFIA CFRE
Director, FundraisingForce

Having worked as a fundraiser for marquis organisations
in the United States and consulted with hundreds of organisations in Australia, New Zealand, throughout Asia, and across Europe, Stephen brings a vast amount of skills to the Asia-Pacific marketplace. In 2014, Stephen founded his own boutique consulting firm, FundraisingForce, which offers a wide array of fundraising services. Stephen has presented dozens of times at fundraising and management conferences in the US and throughout Asia-Pacific and has received rave reviews time and time again.

Stephen is also a member of FIA NSW Executive Committee and was Co-Chair of the FIA 2015 Conference Program Committee. 



Andrew Sabatino MFIA
Executive Manager - Business Development, Guide Dogs SA/NT

Andrew has over 15 years’ fundraising and marketing experience in both Australia and the UK. Specialising in Direct Mail, Tele-Fundraising, Digital, Major Gifts, Face to Face and Bequests. Andrew has previously worked with The Cancer Council NSW, Multiple Sclerosis Society UK, RSPCA UK, Bernardo's UK and the NSPCC UK. He led Guide Dogs SA/NT to experience significant annual fundraising growth, where annual income increased from $1.6m to $8.6m over seven years. In 2016 Andrew was part of a team that won a commercial tender to launch a social enterprise for Guide Dogs through building a Pet Hotel at the Adelaide Airport.

A current member of the FIA SA/NT Committee, and Board Member of radio station Fresh 9.27, Andrew is passionate about giving back to the sector and helping multiple causes.


Tracey Finlay FFIA CFRE

Tracey has been a member of FIA for almost 10 years and during this time has held various roles including faculty member of Madison Down Under, a presenter for Skills 1 and 2, SA Chapter President and National Director. She has worked as a fundraiser for organisations such as Craniofacial Foundation, Diabetes South Australia, St Vincent de Paul Society, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital Research Foundation, Royal District Nursing Service, Time for Kids and Saint Ignatius' College, and achieved the CFRE credential in 2008.


Melita Griffin MFIA

Melita has been a member of FIA for the past 8 years and is currently the FIA Tasmanian Chair. Melita also looks after the Mentoring and Membership portfolios and sits on the 2015 FIA conference committee. Melita started her career as a journalist and public relations consultant, moving over to fundraising in 1999. As well as being a Sessional Tutor and Guest Lecturer in Public Relations at Deakin University, she has worked with organisations including Surf Coast Shire (Vic), Bethany Community Support (Vic), Menzies Research Institute and Heart Foundation Tasmania. Melita has worked in senior fundraising management positions for the past 11 years and has a broad range of expertise across all fundraising products.

Melita was awarded the Telstra Young Business Women's Award in Tasmania in 2013. Most recently she was joint winner of FIA's 2014 Young Fundraiser of the Year Award.

Melita has been a tutor for FIA since 2012 and has delivered both the Certificate in Fundraising and Fundraising Essentials in Tasmania and Victoria.


Heiko Plange-Korndoerfer FFIA CFRE
Director, Western Australian Museum Foundation

Heiko has extensive experience in developing and executing strategic marketing, major gifts fundraising and corporate partnership programs. He has previously worked across health, medical research, educational, community, and charitable organisations throughout Australia. Heiko holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance Investment and a Graduate Certificate in Social Impact.

Heiko has been a Fellow of the Fundraising Institute Australia and has represented Western Australia on the State Executive since 2010.
